CARING FOR YOUR BEAR

All Charlie Bears love a good pamper so please cuddle and clean your bear regularly as they really do enjoy spending time with you!

Across all the collections, we find the best way to care for your bear is to give them a quick blow-dry!  On the coolest setting, a hairdryer sweeps away any tiny dust particles and then use a soft brush afterwards to help you gently position their fur back into shape. Please don’t use a spikey brush as it can damage their fur and give them scratchy eyes when you brush their little faces. A baby’s brush made of soft, nylon bristles does the job paw-fectly.

We find our bears’ eyes sparkle beautifully when wiped gently with a soft cloth. And if they’ve been mischievous and gotten a bit dirty, we suggest using another soft cloth with some warm water to carefully wipe over any dirty marks on their fur. Try not to get them too wet as they’re not very keen on water.

Our bears always tell us that they do not like to be left in direct sunlight as this makes them too hot and can damage their fur, they also tell us that they do not like perfume or fabric fresheners as again this can damage their 
fur and also their eyes.
